CHEERS VILLAGE GATHERING
The CHEERS Village Gathering is an open monthly community event where we invite all the members of our community to hold space and discuss issues affecting our sector. Prior to the pandemic, we would meet in person, eat and enjoy space together. As a response we have made the event virtually accessible and interactive. Each gathering promises to be positive, thought provoking and productive. See you there!
CHEERS MENTOR CHECK-IN
The CHEERS Mentor Check- In is a bi-weekly community event where we invite our Mentors and Mentees and other community members to engage with us in professional and team building exercises. We also use this time to check-in on individual Mentor/Mentee relationships and account for both parties.
CHEERS INSTAGRAM LIVE SESSIONS
Our CHEERS Instagram Live Sessions are an opportunity for us as the CHEERS Team to interact with our virtual community members and other black-focused programs to discuss issues affecting the Child-Care sector and also to bring awareness to other resources that might be useful.

A lead artist along with two program assistants have been engaged to provide 10 skill training workshops. Additionally CHEERS Mentors will be engaged to provide cultural knowledge, skill development and on-site support for youth participants.
